From Nidri port, take the ferry that connects the neighboring islands of Ithaca and Cefallonia and don't forget to visit magnificent Meganissi.
Again from Nidri port, various 1-day cruises take you to Prigkiponissia islands (Skorpios, well-known in relation to the Onassis family; Mathouri, related to the Greek writer A. Valaoritis; Skorpidi; Sparti) as well as to the famous “Porto-Katsiki” beach.
At a close distance you get the local Nikiana beach (1km) and “Passa” beach (2km), where the children summer camp is.
The island's typical pebbles are found everywhere. On all beaches expect a surrounding of pine trees and crystal-clear waters.
